How to setup smart device pay



Compatible devices

  • Phones – iPhone SE, iPhone 6 or later, Galaxy S6 and later, Android smartphone running Android Lollipop 5.0 or higher.
  • Wearables – Apple watch series 1 and later, Galaxy Watch.
  • Tablets – iPad with Touch ID or Face ID. Mac models with Touch ID.

How to pay using your device

  • iPhone with Face ID - Double click the side button, authorise your payment by glancing at your screen, then hold iPhone near reader.
  • iPhone with Touch ID - Hold your iPhone near the reader with your finger on Touch ID to authorise your payment.
  • Apple watch - Double click the side button and hold Apple Watch up to the reader.
  • Samsung phone – Swipe up or hold the back key, authorize your payment with your iris, fingerprint or PIN, hold your phone near the reader
  • Google phone - Wake your phone, hold your phone to the terminal, then wait until you see a check mark (tick).
  • Google smartwatch - Open Google Pay on your smartwatch, hold it near the terminal, then wait until you see a check mark (tick)
