Getting the best value from the NDIS.

Australian Unity client, Holly, has muscular dystrophy. But she's also a very typical 11 year-old girl with dreams of study, travel and an exciting career as a professional children’s counsellor.

Thanks to the NDIS, Holly now has extra support from staff at Australian Unity so she can work towards her goals.

As one of Australia’s most experienced disability service providers, we are committed to enabling Holly and others to get the best value from the NDIS so they can lead the life they want to lead.

Proud to continue the traditions of Home Care Service of NSW

In 2016, we welcomed more than 4,000 new staff and 50,000 home and disability services clients to Australian Unity, as part of the transfer of Home Care Service of NSW.

The transfer means that Australian Unity is now one of the nation’s largest providers of home care services.

As a mutual (in other words, a member-owned) organisation, with significant experience in delivering home care services, aged care and retirement living, Australian Unity is well-positioned to continue the work of Home Care Service of NSW, offering clients the best support possible.

If you live in New South Wales and are looking for home care or disability services, Australian Unity can support you.

We’re here for you whatever your needs or goals

Our services are suitable for people of all ages and abilities who would like to receive extra support to get the most out of life.

Whether you are an older person looking for a helping hand with daily necessities, or a younger person with a disability who would like support to achieve your goals, we can customise a support solution just for you.

Through our Aboriginal Home Care service, we are also the largest provider of specialised and culturally appropriate home care services to Aboriginal people in Australia.

We are registered to provide support through a number of Government funded programs, including the NDIS, Lifetime Care and Support and can also provide support to people eligible to receive support through a Home Care Package or the Commonwealth Home Support Programme.
