| Waiting period for gum disease, root canal and surgical extractions changed to 12 months (1 July 2021) |
Currently, the waiting period on this cover for gum disease, root canals and surgical extractions is 6 months. From 1 July 2021, the waiting period for these treatments will be 12 months. This change will only impact new members who join this cover from 1 July 2021. |
| Excess waiver for hospital admissions due to an Accident will be changing (1 July 2021) |
Currently, we waive the excess on this cover for hospital admissions that occur as the result of an Accident. We’ve changed the terms of this cover so that, for admissions occurring on or after 1 July 2021, the Accident must have happened after you joined the cover in order for us to waive the excess. In other words, if the Accident occurred before you joined the cover, any applicable excess will be payable upon admission to hospital. |

From 1 July 2021, we’ll be paying Hydrotherapy where the cover includes ‘Exercise Physiology’ or ‘Physiotherapy’, and we’ll be paying Sports Physiotherapy where the cover includes ‘Physiotherapy’. |
