Be prepared with a house inspection checklist

Buying a house is one of the biggest decisions you will make in your life, so when you’re looking to buy, it is important to do your research. Whether you’re a seasoned investor or a first-time owner-occupier, making sure the property you’re looking at ticks all the right boxes is imperative.

This goes far beyond just location and ‘look’ of the house. It means digging deeper and inspecting elements such as wiring and ventilation, the surrounding neighbourhood and landscape. The best idea is to get an independent surveyor to carry out a full building inspection at the property. This will inform you of any hidden issues that may be present: termites, landslip possibility, pipes and plumbing condition etc.

Our home inspection checklist will help guide you through the necessary areas to investigate as well as inform you of potential issues you may need to raise.
