Check your scheduled Osko payments

Why do I need to check my scheduled payments?

Scheduled Osko payments will be affected by the upcoming transition, the impact depends on how they’re set up.

Payment type What will happen at transition Action
Scheduled Osko to PayID
(e.g. mobile number or email)
Cancelled and no longer visible as Bank Australia doesn’t support this feature Check your scheduled payments to confirm if any are set up to transfer to a PayID. If you wish to maintain a scheduled payment that is currently set up to a PayID, you will need to recreate it via the Bank Australia app or Internet Banking using the recipient’s BSB and account number, once you become a Bank Australia customer. For now, we recommend making a note of the payment amount, frequency, and any reference or message prior to the transition weekend. Then get the recipient’s BSB and account numbers.
Scheduled Osko to BSB & account number Converted to a standard payment (Direct Entry) which can take up to 2 business days to process, so it will still go through—but not in real time. Message fields will be impacted, reference message reduced to 18 characters and personal message deleted. Check your scheduled payments to confirm if any are set up to transfer to a BSB and account number. Consider reviewing the timing of your payment and reference message, then adjusting it if needed after transition, via the Bank Australia app or Internet Banking.
Scheduled Direct Entry/Standard Payment to a BSB & account number Will automatically transition to Bank Australia No action
One off real time Osko payments made after the transition Will be processed as normal No action

Internet banking

1. Log in and select 'Payments'

2. Select 'Future Payments'

3. Look at the ‘Type’ column in the table, if it says ‘Osko Payment’ this confirms the payment is currently set up to send via Osko (these are the payments that will be impacted by the transition). Those with ‘Internal’ and ‘External’ in the type column are already Direct Entry payments and will not be affected by the transition.

4. Select each scheduled payment then look at the field under ‘Payment Option’ to determine whether the Osko payment is set up to a PayID or BSB and account.
