Resetting my Internet Banking password

Here's how you can do it

What do I need to do to reset my password?

To reset your Internet Banking Password you need to have valid mobile number registered with Australian Unity banking and have SMS One Time Password enabled. If you don’t have SMS One Time Password it’s easy to set up, just give us a call and we can help you.

I’ve got SMS One Time Password, how do I reset my Internet Banking password?

From our homepage please open Internet Banking.



1. Click on ‘Forgotten your password?’
Step 1

2. Enter the following information
  • Customer Number
  • Date of Birth - format DD MMM YYYY (e.g. 01 JAN 1999)

3. Select Next to continue.

4. Select 'Get SMS'.

Step 4

You’ll be notified that an SMS has been sent to your registered mobile number.


5.  Enter the 6 digit code in the One Time Password field.

6. Click 'Next'.

Step 5


7.  Enter a New Password.

8. Confirm the New Password by retyping.

9. Select Save and you're done.
