Tim was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer of Australian Unity Bank Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Australian Unity Limited in January 2017. This followed five years as Chief Operating Officer for Australian Unity Wealth. He is responsible for the overall performance of the Australian Unity Bank Limited including banking, financial advice and insurance. Tim is also Director of several Australian Unity Joint Venture companies.
In his time as COO for Australian Unity Wealth, Tim was responsible for finance, capital management, investment operations and control, legal and compliance, governance, technology, project management office, business intelligence and strategic risk management. Prior to this, Tim was a partner at Ernst & Young where he focused on the financial services sector providing assurance and advisory services to a broad range of clients including those with asset management, insurance and banking operations.
Tim has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce - Accounting and Finance, from the University of Tasmania, Chartered Accountant and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mr Promnitz was appointed Chairman of the board of Australian Unity Limited on 30 March 2016. He is Chairman of Australian Unity Bank Limited, and has been a director since 1 January 2013. He is a director of Warakirri Asset Management Pty Ltd and Elite Superannuation Services Pty Ltd and was previously Chairman of listed company SFG Australia Limited. Mr Promnitz is a qualified actuary. He was formerly Head of Mercer in Asia Pacific, a member of the global Mercer Executive Committee and Chairman of Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc. in Australia, a role he retired from in December 2012. Prior to his senior executive role in Asia Pacific with Mercer, his business experience includes a diverse career in financial services in Australia and New Zealand. He has led investment, superannuation, actuarial and human resource consulting businesses in both executive and non-executive capacities with a personal focus on clients, diversity and governance. Mr Willcock was appointed to the board of Australian Unity Bank Limited on 1 March 2012. He is a director of a number of Australian Unity Limited subsidiaries, chairman of the Risk Committee, a member of the Audit and Compliance Committee and an ex-officio member of the Australian Unity Bank Limited Risk Committee. Mr Willcock is also a director of the Customer Owned Banking Association (COBA), the industry advocate for Australia’s customer owned banking sector. Mr Willcock has over 33 years’ experience in banking and financial services in Australia, United States of America and the United Kingdom including seven years in general management roles at National Australia Bank in the areas of risk management, strategy and change management. Mr Willcock has not held any directorships of listed entities in addition to those set out above during the last three years.
Mr Walsh is CEO of the Australian Unity Retail platform, which brings together Australian Unity’s private health insurance, banking, and general insurance and broking businesses. Mr Walsh was previously the General Manager – Life and Super in Australian Unity’s Wealth platform, where he had commercial responsibility for Australian Unity’s investment bond and superannuation businesses. He joined Australian Unity in 2009 after a merger with Lifeplan where he had held a number of executive positions. Prior to joining Lifeplan, Mr Walsh worked with PriceWaterhouse both in Australia and the US developing global strategic methodologies. Mr Walsh is a Director of Australian Unity Health Limited, Australian Unity Bank Limited, Lifeplan Australia Friendly Society Limited and Members Own Health Funds Ltd. Mr Walsh previously chaired the International Centre for Financial Services at University of Adelaide and finance industry body, FSA.

Ms McCluskey was appointed to the board of Australian Unity Limited on 1 September 2015. She is a director of a number of Australian Unity Limited subsidiaries and a member of the Human Resources, Remuneration and Nominations Committee, Investment Committee and Audit and Compliance Committee. Ms McCluskey is the immediate past Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Australia Institute. She is a member of the Regional Telecommunications Independent Review Committee and a member of the Ministerial Advisory Council on Skilled Migration. Ms McCluskey was also a member of the Harper Review of Competition Policy. Ms McCluskey was previously the CEO of the Council of Rural Research and Development Corporations and the Executive Director of the Office of Best Practice Regulation. Ms McCluskey has held senior positions with the Business Council of Australia, the National Farmers’ Federation and the Australian Taxation Office. She is also a beef cattle farmer. Ms McCluskey was named the Westpac/Australian Financial Review Regional Woman of Influence in 2013 and received the Women in Agribusiness award in 2014 for outstanding contribution to policy development. Mr McCoy joined Australian Unity in April 2012 and became Chief Financial Officer in March 2014. He was previously Group Executive - Strategic Business Development and Deputy CFO, and was responsible for the effective execution of strategic initiatives, treasury, capital management and organisation-wide performance measures. He previously had a successful consulting relationship with Australian Unity having project managed the merger with Grand United in 2005, the sale of the General Insurance business in 2007 and the recent merger with Big Sky Credit Union. Other major consulting clients included Westpac where he managed the merger with St.George in 2008, the IPO of BTIM in 2007, the acquisition of RAMS in 2007 and the sale of the Custody business to HSBC in 2006. Mr McCoy has more than 15 years’ experience in senior finance and project management roles primarily in the finance industry. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and is also an accredited project management professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute.
Rohan Mead has served as a director of Australian Unity Bank Limited since 2012. He was appointed to the board as a result of the company’s merger with Australian Unity Limited. Mr Mead is Group Managing Director of Australian Unity Limited, a position he has held since 2004. As Group Managing Director, he is a member of subsidiary boards and most committees. Mr Mead is chairman of Platypus Asset Management, deputy chair of Acorn Capital, a director of Seres Asset Management (Hong Kong) and a director of the Australian Centre for Health Research Limited. He is chairman of the Business Council of Australia's Healthy Australia task force. He is also a director of the Centre for Independent Studies and the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra. Prior to joining Australian Unity, Mr Mead held a number of senior leadership roles with Perpetual Trustees Australia Limited. Mr Mead has not held any directorships of listed entities in addition to those set out above during the last three years.

Mr Kirk was appointed to the board of Australian Unity Limited on 1 February 2016. Mr Kirk is currently Managing Director and Founder of Collins Pitt Associates and is a director of the Victorian Registration & Qualifications Authority. He is also a director of Worksafe Victoria and the Transport Accident Commission. He is a member of the Audit & Risk Committee of Monash University. He is a director of the Melbourne Festival and the St Kilda Football Club. Prior to this, Mr Kirk held a number of senior positions both overseas and in Australia with the major accountancy firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers, specialising in the area of corporate advice, turnaround & restructuring, profit improvement, M&A, strategic advice, risk and governance, forensic accounting and insolvency management. Following this, Paul worked for two years as a Special Advisor for Lazard Australia. Mr Kirk has not held any directorships of listed entities in addition to those set out above during the last three years.
