What is Support at Home?

Support at Home overview

Support at Home is a new national aged care program designed to help older Australians stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

It provides government funding for in-home services, such as personal care, domestic assistance, and clinical support. It gives you more support, your own funding, and a wider range of services than the Commonwealth Home Support Program.

Support at Home replaced the Home Care Packages Program from November 2025. It will eventually replace the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) after July 2027, creating one streamlined system for in-home aged care.
