Australian Unity Health Insurance has partnered with Essendon Football Club as the club’s official health and wellbeing partner for the 2025 AFL season.

Both organisations have a long history of supporting Australians and a strong connection to community. This partnership is built on a shared goal: helping people manage their health and wellbeing in ways that are practical, personal and meaningful.

Through the partnership, Australian Unity and Essendon will collaborate on a range of health and wellbeing initiatives that benefit members, fans and the wider community.

Rebecca Harwood, CEO of Private Health Insurance at Australian Unity, said the partnership reflects Australian Unity’s commitment to real wellbeing.

“Essendon has always had a strong connection with its supporters and local community. That’s something we value deeply at Australian Unity,” Ms Harwood said.

“We’re focused on supporting people’s wellbeing in their daily lives. Whether it’s access to health care services, practical advice or just feeling more supported, that’s what this partnership is about.”

Essendon Football Club CEO Craig Vozzo said the partnership reflects a strong alignment in values and purpose.

“We’re proud to welcome Australian Unity to the Essendon family. Their long-standing commitment to health and wellbeing strongly aligns with our vision of building a healthier, more connected community - both on and off the field.”

“This partnership truly embodies our commitment to being more than just a football club,”Vozzo said.

“Australian Unity will also benefit from national exposure through Essendon’s digital and social channels and the opportunity to connect with the Club’s strong membership base and broader supporter network across the country.”
