Australian Unity has been named Roy Morgan Private Health Insurer of the Year (Retail) for the third consecutive year, recognising consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and trust.

The award is based on Roy Morgan’s independent, ongoing research program, which measures customer satisfaction across Australia’s private health insurance sector using feedback from thousands of Australians over a 12 month period.

The repeat recognition reflects Australian Unity’s ongoing focus on providing clear information and practical support for members navigating an increasingly complex health system.

Rebecca Harwood, Group Executive, Health Insurance at Australian Unity, said the award recognises the organisation’s people and its strong member first focus.

“Being recognised for the third year in a row reflects the trust our members place in us and how we support them through important moments in their lives,” Ms Harwood said.

“It speaks to the care and commitment our teams bring to supporting members every day.”

Australian Unity’s performance reflects a continued focus on making health insurance easier to understand and use, with frontline teams playing a central role in helping members make informed decisions about their cover.

“We know people value clarity, confidence and dependable support when it comes to their health insurance,” Ms Harwood said.

“Our focus is on delivering that consistently, whether members are choosing cover, making a claim or accessing care.”

Roy Morgan’s Customer Satisfaction Awards are widely regarded as one of the most robust measures of consumer sentiment, as they are based on real customer feedback over time rather than one off surveys.
