Kieser Hip & Knee Osteoarthritis Program
Support to help manage hip and knee osteoarthritis without surgery
If hip or knee osteoarthritis is affecting your quality of life, the Kieser Hip & Knee Osteoarthritis Program offers a structured, non surgical approach to help reduce pain, improve movement and support long term joint health.
The program is delivered by Kieser, specialists in physiotherapy led strength training and chronic condition management.
About the program
Eligible Australian Unity members can access a multi-week osteoarthritis care plan at no additional cost.
The program focuses on:
- Supervised exercise and physiotherapy tailored to hip or knee osteoarthritis
- Improving strength, mobility and confidence with movement
- Helping delay or avoid the need for joint replacement surgery
- Education and support to help manage osteoarthritis in the long term
After completing the program, receive additional complimentary access to support ongoing independent training.
Who can take part
You may be eligible if you:
- hold an eligible hospital or combination product that includes clinical category "Joint Replacements" for at least 12 months
- you hold an active policy that is paid up to date for the duration of the program
- not participated in a Kieser osteoarthritis program in the past three years
Meeting fund eligibility requirements does not automatically guarantee acceptance into the program. Kieser will complete a separate clinical assessment to confirm suitability based on your osteoarthritis and overall health before accepting you in the program.
