About our home

Our aged care home offers a variety of suites to accommodate all levels of care, including specialized support for those living with dementia. Designed to foster both comfort and independence, each room provides a personal space to relax, add your own touches, and host visitors. Our expert staff are always available to assist when needed, ensuring you feel supported at all times.

At our community, we believe that learning, giving, and growing should continue at every stage of life. Our small homes are filled with interesting people, each with rich experiences, talents, and ambitions. We are dedicated to providing the best in care, support, and wellbeing, so you can continue to be yourself.

Just like in any ordinary household, our doors are always open to family and friends. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a coffee in the café, take a leisurely stroll through the landscaped village green, or relax with a movie in the theatre.

About our rooms

Our boutique aged care home at St Luke’s Green, Woolloongabba has a range of suites and can accommodate all levels of care, including care for people living with dementia. Each suite has been thoughtfully designed to encompass luxury and quality, and comes fully furnished with designer-selected décor and fittings. All suites feature a spacious private bathroom, fitted with a vanity, heat lamps, anti-slip tiles and nurse call buttons.

Residents are encouraged to bring along treasured mementos and items to make their room feel as homely and comfortable as possible.

Room pricing

You can choose to pay for your accommodation in one of three ways:

as a lump sum called a Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD)
as a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) which is a non-refundable daily payment
as a combination of both the RAD and DAP

Under the new Aged Care Act, from 1 November 2025, aged care providers will be required to retain 2% of the Refundable Accommodation Deposits paid. This retention amount will be calculated daily and deducted monthly for a maximum of 5 years from the date the Refundable Accommodation Deposits was paid. Please note that the above prices are subject to change without notice.

Higher Everyday Living Fee

Wellbeing Choice Program (Higher Everyday Living Fee)

Australian Unity’s Wellbeing Choice Program has been designed around the new higher everyday living services framework. Our Lumina Package provides enhanced daily living and lifestyle choices for every resident. It offers residents choice and control over everyday living in our homes, with access to enhanced services that support comfort, wellbeing, and personal lifestyle choices.

The Wellbeing Choice Program is an optional service giving you the ability to select from our discounted Lumina Package or purchase individual enhanced services.

Our Lumina Package is $45.00 per day (valued at $123.00 if products/services purchased separately).

It consists of the below services:

IT helpdesk support
Video catch up calls
Test and tagging of personal electrical items
Priority postage service
Printed clothing name labels
Simple clothing repairs
Next day personal laundry service

Wellbeing Choice Lifestyle events (such as monthly special event, Christmas party, wine connoisseurs club, monthly high tea, weekly happy hour, ice cream cart)
Beer and wine with meals
A variety of breakfast options (including hot breakfast)
Choice of two main meals and dessert at lunch and dinner
Use of dedicated outdoor BBQ area
A variety of non-alcoholic drink options
