Mark Pratt

Executive General Manager - Property

Mark Pratt joined Australian Unity in 2004. As General Manager – Australian Unity Property, he is responsible for the commercial management and growth of Australian Unity’s property and mortgages investment management businesses.

Australian Unity Property actively manages more than $2 billion in assets consisting of commercial property; including the recently listed Australian Unity Office Fund, healthcare property and commercial mortgages.

Mark currently sits on the national executive committee of the Property Funds Association and is also a member of the Victorian Division Council of the Property Council of Australia.

Prior to his current role, Mark was Australian Unity Investments’ Chief Operating Officer and has also held senior roles at Plum Financial Services, AMP Financial Services and State Street Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting from the University of NSW.

Roy Prasad

Head of Mortgages Australian Unity Wealth

Roy Prasad joined Australian Unity in 1998, and has responsibility for the management of all mortgage investments.

Before joining Australian Unity, Roy worked for Colonial Investment Management Limited for over 10 years, where he was responsible for the management of various mortgage portfolios, including credit risk management, portfolio construction and managing originator relationships.

Roy is a member of the Australian Unity Commercial Property Lending Committee.

Peter Lambden

Head of Property and Asset Management Australian Unity Wealth

Peter joined Australian Unity Investments in 2001, today he is responsible for providing key input to its fund and property strategies, developing consistent and effective asset and property management processes, overseeing the operation of all property functions together with being responsible for the property credit risk review of all Select Income Fund mortgages.

Peter has over 43 years’ experience in valuations and property and portfolio management, spending the majority of his pre Australian Unity career in senior roles with National Mutual (now AXA) and Local Government.

Peter joined National Mutual in 1986, where he was manager of new investments and valuations. From 1991 to 1995 he was state manager for National Mutual’s Queensland branch, and prior to this he managed a team of 40 responsible for National Mutual’s Victorian and Tasmanian property assets and mortgage securities, valued in excess of $1 billion at the time.

From 1997 to 2000, Peter managed AXA’s New Zealand property operation together with having valuation and research responsibilities for Australia and New Zealand.

Peter has a Diploma in Agricultural Science and a Diploma in Business Studies – Valuations from RMIT. He has held a number of senior positions with industry bodies including President of the Australian Property Institute and Executive member of the Property Council of Australia. He is a fellow of the Australian Property Institute, a member of the Property Council of Australia and an RMIT Advisory Board member.
