At The Alba, our suites are designed with a visionary approach, featuring the small household model that creates a true sense of home. Each self-contained household includes its own kitchen, dining room, and living room, giving you the freedom to be involved in household life, from meal preparation to setting your daily routine. About our rooms

At The Alba Aged Care Suites, the suite is our residents own private haven — a space where they can relax, read, enjoy time with visitors, or catch up on Favorite television shows. We’ve carefully designed each suite to combine the comforts of home with the practical needs of aged care, offering spaciousness, mobility, and privacy while ensuring your independence.

Each suite is thoughtfully designed with both luxury and comfort in mind. Spacious and light-filled, they feature modern amenities tailored to residents changing needs. To make your space truly their own, residents are encouraged to bring in personal belongings such as photos, artwork, and cherished ornaments, fostering a sense of ownership and emotional wellbeing.

The suites are fully furnished with high-quality, designer-selected decor, including a comfortable bed, cozy seating area, and ample storage for personal items. Equipped with air conditioning, lighting, and communication tools, these rooms provide all the necessary comforts for a connected and comfortable lifestyle.

You can choose to pay for your accommodation in one of three ways:

A Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD - lump sum)
Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP - periodic payment)
A combination of both the DAP and RAD

Additional or extra services

Australian Unity is pleased to offer aged care residents at The Alba enhanced lifestyle choices through our Better Together Plus services. These services are provided for $40.00 per day, which includes access to all of the below options. These services include:

Communication, Connectedness and Entertainment	Meals and Refreshments	Serviced Private Dining Facilities	Social Activities and Hobbies
Access to Family Connect app for communication of what’s happening at the Home, booking of services and events and updates to Better Together Plus Services.	Breakfast available to residents any time of their choosing.	Reasonable private use a private dining area for your use in a part of the home of your choosing (max 4 times per year, subject to booking availability), fully set up and serviced for your use.	A minimum of one weekly social activity will be provided, including items over and above the standard care and services. These will be distinguished from regular activities by the presence of a paid external party (e.g. entertainer or qualified fitness instructor), or if catering or rental equipment is provided. Examples of these include:
Cost of phone line, handset rental and unlimited National phone calls.	Breakfast served wherever the resident wants it (i.e. in their room or in the common areas)		Chair Yoga classes run by qualified professionals
Access to Wi-Fi with unlimited data in resident rooms and in common areas	Choice of continental or cooked breakfast, made to order		Facilitated cooking activities
Tablets available for shared use	Choice of two main meal options at lunch and dinner, based on a seasonal menu, with lighter options available		Visits by paid entertainers to the service (as scheduled)
