Funding
Just like paying for a mechanic or a travel agent, the reality is home health and care services come with a cost. You can pay for the services yourself, or you may qualify for a government subsidy that covers some or all of the costs for your home care services.
Whether you are eligible for assistance is based on your age, the level of care and support you need, and your current financial circumstances.

Caring for others
If you are providing care and support for a family member or friend, it helps to register to represent them with My Aged Care and your service providers. My Aged Care is the official gateway to government-subsidised aged care services.
Being a registered representative means you can:
Help friends and loved ones make decisions about the right care for their needs
Communicate with government organisations and service providers on their behalf
Update personal information with My Aged Care
Register with My Aged Care or contact our Health Concierge team who can help with an assisted call to My Aged Care.
