The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) is an Australian Government-funded aged care program. It provides entry-level support in the home to help older Australians to stay living independently.

need a small amount of help to continue living independently at home
only require one or two support services like household help, transport, personal care or allied health services
To be eligible for CHSP you must be:
65 years or older (50 years or older for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people), or
50 years or older (45 years or older for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people), on a low income and homeless, or at risk of being homeless
