What happens after your assessment?

After you have been assessed for your Home Care Package funding, you will be placed on the National Waitlist until a funding package is assigned to you. While you are waiting you can explore options to ensure that you can stay happy and healthy at home until your Home Care Package is assigned.

Some options include:

Access essential services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)
Start paying for your care privately while you wait
Reach out to friends and family for support
Plan what care services you might need, once your package comes through
Accept an interim Package
