Terms and Conditions: CPA $1000 Quote Competition – Win a $1,000 Gift Card (6 October – 30 November 2025)

1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. By entering the "CPA $1,000 Quote Competition" (competition), you acknowledge that you have read these terms and conditions and that you agree to be bound by them.
2. The promoter is Australian Unity Health Limited ABN 13 078 722 568, 271 Spring Street, Melbourne, VIC, 3000 (Promoter)
3. The competition runs from 12:01am (AEDT) 6 October 2025 to 11:59pm (AEDT) 3o November 2025. The Promoter reserves the right to extend the competition end date at any time. No late entries will be accepted. Incomplete or incoherent entries will be invalid.
4. The prize consists of 1 x $1,000 Mastercard Gift Card. One winner will receive one (1) $1000 Mastercard Gift Card.
5. To be eligible to enter the competition you must:
   1. be 18 years or older;
   2. reside in any Australian State or Territory
   3. Be a current CPA Australia Member or CPA employee at the time of the entry
6. To be entered into the random prize draw, the entrant must complete an Australian Unity health insurance quote (for hospital cover, extras cover, or a combination of both) via the Australian Unity website or call centre during the competition period, including providing their email address and phone number. Entrants who complete their quote via the call centre will receive two (2) entries into the competition, entrants who complete their quote at the CPA Congress Kiosk between 14th-16th of October will receive an extra (+1) entrie.
7. A limit of one entry to the competition per person applies to those who obtain a quote online. Entrants who obtain a quote via the call centre will receive two (2) entries, entrants who complete their quote at the CPA Congress Kiosk between 14th-16th of October will receive an extra (+1) entries..If an entrant proceeds to purchase and commence an Australian Unity health insurance product prior to 11:59pm (AEDT) 30 November 2025, they will receive an additional nine (9) entries into the competition. This offer is subject to compliance with applicable trade promotion laws. There is no fee to enter.
8. For the avoidance of doubt, this promotion is not available:
   1. through brokers, intermediaries or comparators;
   2. to employees, directors or officers of the Promoter, and any of its related bodies corporate, and any companies or agencies associated with this competition, or their immediate families;
   3. on Overseas Visitors Cover (OVC) products; or
   4. to members who hold Australian Unity private health insurance with a policy commencement prior to 6 October 2025.
9. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, CPA membership status, and proof of residency) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Any decision to disqualify any entrant will be made in accordance with applicable laws and will not be unreasonable or arbitrary. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
10. The winners will be chosen at random by manual draw. A limit of one prize per entrant applies. The first valid entry drawn will win one (1) $1, 000 Mastercard Gift Card. The random prize draw will be held on 4 December 2025 at 11:30am (AEDT) at 271 Spring Street, Melbourne, VIC, 3000 and the winners notified by phone and/or email by 5 December 2025. The winner will be published on the Australian Unity website at australianunity.com.au/competitionwinners by 8 December 2025.
11. If a prize is not claimed by 16 December 2025, a second chance random draw will take place on this date and the unclaimed prize-winner will be notified by phone and/or email by 17 December 2025, and the new winner will be published on the Australian Unity website at australianunity.com.au/competitionwinners on 19 December 2025.
12. The prize is not transferable or refundable. No part of the prize is exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other prize. If any aspect of the prize cannot be delivered for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for any other similar item of equal or greater value subject to State laws
13. The results of the draw and Promoter’s decisions in relation to all aspects of this promotion are final and binding on all entrants
14. Subject to regulatory approval, the Promoter reserves the right to amend the competition and its terms and conditions at any time and for any reason, and will notify entrants of any such amendments as soon as reasonably practicable on the competition page at australianunity.com.au/tcs. It is the entrant's responsibility to regularly check the competition page for any amendments.
15. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the Promoter's liability in relation to the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (Non-Excludable Guarantees). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition including:
    1. any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
    2. any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
    3. any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
    4. any variation in prize value to that stated in these terms and conditions;
    5. any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; or
    6. use of the prize.
16. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained by any entrant/winner as a result of participating in this promotion, or accepting any prize.
17. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning the prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.
18. All entries will be the property of the Promoter. Entrants consent to the use of their personal information for the purposes of administering the competition and, where consent is provided, for marketing communications in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. The Promoter’s privacy policy is available on the Promoter’s website at australianunity.com.au/privacy-policy. Entrants can request access to the personal information the Promoter holds about them by contacting the Promoter at the address set out above.
19. The winner of the promotion consents to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media, marketing or advertising activities for an unlimited period without remuneration.
20. If for any reason whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, this promotion is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, unless to do so would be prohibited by law, to a. disqualify any entrant; and/or b. subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to cancel, suspend, modify, terminate or cancel the promotion.
21. The laws of Victoria apply to this promotion. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
22. Simply booking an appointment does not constitute an entry into the competition. However, if a quote is taken out during the booking call with a contact centre representative, the entrant will receive two (2) entries into the competition.

Terms and Conditions: Get 6 (six) weeks free when you join via Australian Unity partnerships on hospital and extras cover or extras only cover (1 October – 31 January 2026)

1. This offer only applies to people who:
   1. purchase Australian Unity corporate hospital and corporate extras cover at the same time; or purchase Australian Unity corporate extras only cover by itself through Australian Unity Partnerships (phone and online portals) where the policies purchased have a commencement date between 1 October – 31 January 2026; and
   2. are new members on new memberships (see condition 3 below),


2. After complying with paragraph 1 above, and subject to paragraph 3 and below, the policy holder may receive 6 (six) weeks free on their eligible cover. Limit of one 6 weeks free offer per membership.


3. Offer only available to new members on new memberships, who have not previously held Australian Unity health insurance or  Asutralian Unity Overseas Visitors Cover within 90 days of joining.


4. This promotion is not available:
   1. through aggregators or comparators;
   2. through direct sales via Australian Unity call centre or website;
   3. to members who take out hospital only cover or Overseas Visitors Cover;
   4. to Australian Unity staff;
   5. to dependants who come off their parent’s policy and take out hospital & extras cover or a combination cover within 90 days. However, they may be eligible for a separate offer if they join within 30 days, refer to the details here


5. The 6 weeks free will be applied to the membership after the policy holder has their eligible cover for a minimum period of 60 continuous days and the policy is paid up to date:
   1. The 6 weeks free will not be applied on any policies that at any time during the first 60 days of membership have been or are in arrears or suspended.
   2. The 6 weeks free offer is applied to your policy by advancing the date you are paid up to, i.e. moving it forward 6 weeks. The 6 weeks free will be applied to policies within 30 days after completing 60 continuous days of paid membership.


6. This offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer or promotion, except where those offers or promotions are clearly expressed or communicated by Australian Unity to constitute or form part of a single offer.


7. Those who join via a partnership relationship are eligible for the partnership discount and the weeks free offer.


8. This offer can be withdrawn at any time by Australian Unity. Australian Unity reserves the right to change these offer conditions at any time by publishing updated terms and conditions on its website australianunity.com.au/health-insurance/affiliate/tcs and to apply the updated offer conditions to any policies purchased after the time when the conditions were updated.


9. Australian Unity may request further information from any purchaser at its discretion, acting reasonably, in order to determine whether the purchaser is eligible for this promotion.

Terms and Conditions: No 2 month or optical waiting periods on extras (1 Oct – 14 Dec 2025)

1. This promotion is only available:
   1. to new members on new memberships who have not previously held Australian Unity health insurance within 90 days of joining;
   2. to members who purchase Australian Unity hospital & extras cover;
   3. through either the Australian Unity call centre/website, Australian Unity Partnerships (phone and online portals) or aggregator or comparator call centre/website;
   4. between 1 Oct and 14 Dec 2025, where the policies purchased have a commencement date between 1 Oct and 14 Dec 2025
      1. Notwithstanding section 1c, Members who join Australian Unity hospital & extras cover (either a combined product or a hospital product and an extras product) through iSelect’s or Health Insurance Comparison (HIC)’s or It’s My Health’s or HealthDeal’s referral program must have a referral date (i.e. the date the sale was processed by iSelect / HIC / It’s My Health / HealthDeal) no later than 14 December 2025 and a start date no later than 31 December2025.
2. This promotion is available to existing members with hospital only, adding extras cover to their policy or existing members with hospital and extras who upgrade their extras level of cover (waiting periods waived for higher benefits allowance only).
3. This promotion is not available:
   1. to new members who purchase hospital only cover, extras only cover, Overseas Visitors Cover or Overseas Visitors Cover plus extras cover;
   2. to Australian Unity staff; or
   3. in conjunction with any other retail offer or promotion being run by Australian Unity at the same time except where those retail offers, or promotions are clearly expressed or communicated by Australian Unity to constitute or form part of a single offer.

4. After satisfying condition 1 to 3 above, Australian Unity will waive 6-month optical extras waiting periods and all 2-month extras waiting periods required to be served under extras covers which have been purchased as part of this promotion. Unless specified by Australian Unity, all other waiting periods for all products still apply.
5. If you are transferring from another fund, we’ll take into consideration the amount you’ve claimed in 2025 under your previous cover when we calculate your yearly limit for equivalent services under your new cover.
6. Australian Unity reserves the right to update or withdraw this offer. Any changes will be published on our website and will apply only to policies purchased after the update date. Existing members who have already qualified for the offer will continue to receive the benefit as outlined.
