Further, as a financial institution, we are required to comply with Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth) (“AML/CTF Act”) to protect our business, our customers and the community from fraud and financial crime. In this regard, we are required to identify and verify our Investors through the ‘Know Your Customer’ or ‘KYC’ process.

Investors who joined before December 12, 2007, or whose personal information or identification documents are not current are required to re-perform identity verification.
You will have received a letter (from AULBL) or an email (from AULBL_KYC@australianunity.com.au) with instructions to verify your identity in a secure manner.
AML/CTF Rules require that we verify the following:
Individual Investor
1. full name; and
Either
2. date of birth
and/or
3. residential address
Non-Individual Investor
1. full legal name
2. registered office/principal place of business
3. beneficial owner information
