Your Support at Home statement shows the services you’ve received, how your funding has been used, and any contribution you may need to pay. Under the Support at Home program, funding is now provided in quarterly budgets, so your statement may look a little different to what you’ve seen before.

Understanding your statement
What does my Support at Home statement show?
Your statement shows how your care funding has been used for the month, including:
- Your available budget
- Services delivered and claimed
- Government contributions and any amount you may need to pay
- Your remaining balance at the end of the month.
What period does my statement cover?
Your statement covers the calendar months shown on the front page (for example, February and March 2026). It reflects services delivered and processed up to the “as at” date on your statement.
What is the “as at” date?
The “as at” date is the cut-off date for what’s included in your statement.
Anything processed after this date will appear on your next statement.

Budget & funding
Why do I now have a quarterly budget?
Under Support at Home, your funding is provided in quarterly (three month) budgets instead of an annual amount.
Each month, your statement shows how much of that quarterly budget you’ve used and what remains.

What funding types might I see?
Your statement may include different Support at Home funding streams, depending on your assigned funding and care plan, such as:
- Ongoing services
- Restorative care pathway
- Assistive technology and home modifications
- End-of-life pathway
What is my “available budget”?
Your available budget is the amount you have at the start of the month, including:
- Government funding
- Any approved supplements
- Any unspent funds carried forward
What are Support at Home unspent funds?
Unused funds at the end of a quarter, which can carry over to the next quarter. The maximum you can carry over is up to 10% of your quarterly budget capped at $1000.
Can I still use unspent funds from my Home Care Package?
Yes. If you transitioned from Home Care Packages, any unspent funds can still be used for your Support at Home ongoing services and assistive technology and home modifications (AT-HM).
What are supplements?
Supplements are additional funding designed to help cover the costs associated with specialised care. If you’re eligible and approved, these will appear in your budget summary.
Primary supplements include:

- Oxygen supplement – for participants who have a medical need for continual oxygen therapy
- Enteral feeding supplement – for participants with a specified medical need for enteral feeding
- Veterans’ supplement – for veterans with a mental health condition accepted by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs as related to their service
- Remote supplement – for participants who receive assistive technology and/or home modification funding and live in a remote area with a Modified Monash Model classification of 6 or 7.
What is care management?
Care management supports the coordination of your care and services.

What does “services delivered and claimed” mean?
These are the services that:
- Have been provided to you
- Have been processed and included in your statement
Will all my services appear on this statement?
Only services that have been processed by the “as at” date will appear.
Services delivered but not yet claimed are shown at the end of the statement. Once claimed, these will appear in the claimed section on a future statement and will be deducted from that quarter’s balance.

What is the services summary?
The services summary shows the types of services you received (such as personal care or cleaning) and their total cost for the month.
What’s included in the detailed services list?
The detailed section shows:
- Date of service
- Type of service
- Who provided it (including third parties)
- Cost of the service
- Government contribution
- Your contribution (if applicable)

Your contribution is the portion of your care costs you may need to pay.

Do I need to contribute to all services?
No. Contributions depend on the type of service:
- Clinical services (e.g. nursing): no contribution
- Independence and everyday services: contributions may apply

If you have a payment due, it will be shown on your invoice, including:
- Total amount to pay
- Due date
- Payment options
How can I pay my invoice?
You can pay using:
- Direct debit
- BPAY
- Credit card

These cover items such as equipment or modifications to your home.
