Located two kilometres from Brisbane’s central business district and forming part of the already established and world-class Herston Health Precinct, the Herston Quarter offers many strategic advantages.
Over the next 10 years, the planned $1.1 billion project will build or develop multiple integrated buildings across the Herston Quarter to create a vibrant, wellbeing community where Queenslanders can thrive.
In line with the priorities of the Queensland Government, the Herston Quarter will primarily focus on delivering quality health education and biomedical facilities across 50% of the new Quarter. Complementing this is a range of uses across aging, residential, commercial, child care, retail and food and beverage services that support the Quarter and the balance of the Herston Health Precinct.
The overall land use will also be balanced in nature, embrace the site’s existing heritage value and create a vibrant, wellbeing community where Queenslanders and all those who visit the Herston Health Precinct can thrive.
