Helping Australians to thrive

In 1999, we opened a unique healthcare property investment to capitalise on Australia’s ageing population and growing demands for healthcare services.

The Australian Unity Healthcare Property Trust (Trust) is now the largest healthcare property fund in Australia, with assets collectively valued in excess of $1.25 billion and a strong development pipeline of approximately $685 million.

For investors, the Trust has delivered consistent, steady income distributions since its inception, including through the global financial crisis. Over recent years, the Trust has also delivered positive capital growth.

We have recently launched an offer that provides new investment into the Trust.

A new Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) for Funding Units is now available.

If you would potentially like to invest in the Trust, please download a copy of the PDS. To invest, you can either apply online or use the paper-based form.

Why invest in healthcare property?

Australia’s once youthful population is ageing. The 2016 Census told us our median age is 38. It was 23 in 1911, 28 in 1966, and 37 in 2011.1

As well, one in six Australians are now aged over 65, compared only one in 25 in 1911.1

Irrespective of economic cycles, an ageing population will require additional healthcare facilities and services.

In 2015, despite being approximately 15% of the population, 41% of all hospitalisations in Australia were for people aged over 65.2
