1.1. Your booking for the event is confirmed when:
a) You have paid a $55 deposit at the time of registration;
b) If you are a Home Care Package or NDIS customer, Aboriginal Home Care has confirmed that you have sufficient funds in your package or plan to pay for the event costs outlined in your invitation to this event; and
you provide your verbal consent to Aboriginal Home Care to charge your package or plan the event costs as outlined in your invitation to this event.
Please note Aboriginal Home Care will contact all Home Care Package and NDIS customers over the phone to confirm the matters set out in (b) and (c) above.
1.2. All registrations must be completed by 31 January 2020. No registrations will be accepted after this date.
1.3. To ensure you have transport to the event, prior to 31 January 2020, when you register you must advise a preferred pick up location to attend the event and let your local Home Care Service Coordinator know if your preferred pick up location changes.
1.4. You must be at least 18 years of age to attend the event.
1.5. By making payment of the $55 deposit, you acknowledge you accept these Terms and Conditions.
2. Accommodation Policy
2.1. To attend the event, before check-in, you will need to review and agree to the terms of accommodation of the Novotel Wollongong venue. The venue will provide these conditions to you at check in.
2.2. The event is fully catered. You acknowledge that if you use the mini-bar, order room service or order meals outside of the scheduled event meals, you will need to pay Novotel Wollongong for these before checking out.
2.3. You acknowledge that accommodation will be in shared rooms of 2 to 3 people. You may be required to share a room with your care staff and/or other customers of Aboriginal Home Care and their care staff. Where possible we will work with you to accommodate special requests, such as an individual room, subject to room availability and attendance numbers.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1. You can cancel your registration up until Friday 31 January 2020 and receive a refund of your $55 deposit.
3.2. Cancellations must be sent to your Home Care branch in writing before 31 January 2020.
3.3. If you cancel after 31 January 2020, your $55 deposit will not be refunded, unless you are cancelling for medical reasons or sorry business.
4. Event Activities
4.1. You acknowledge that the event agenda and activities are subject to change. Aboriginal Home Care will endeavour to provide information about changes to the event agenda or activities to guests as soon as possible, however some changes may be made without notice.
4.2. Aboriginal Home Care will not be liable for any cancellation or delay in connection with the event due to an event outside of its reasonable control (such as a natural disaster, hazardous weather conditions, terrorist activity, labour dispute or strike or epidemic).
4.3. You acknowledge that participation in activities are optional and that you are responsible for choosing and controlling your level of participation having regard to your care needs. If you find yourself in difficulty when participating in an activity, you agree to stop the activity and immediately seek help and/or assistance.
5.1. You agree to the pricing arrangements for the event as detailed in your invitation to this event.
6. Information Use and Privacy
6.1. You agree that you may be photographed and/or filmed during the event and/or activities in connection with Aboriginal Home Care. You also agree that Aboriginal Home Care and Australian Unity more broadly may use such recordings for promotion and/or advertising purposes without any prior consent.
6.2. If you do not wish not to have your photo taken or to be recorded, you will need to advise Aboriginal Home Care of this on the first day of the event.
