Get out of hospital sooner and enjoy the benefits of recovering at home with our unique Member Support Program.
No matter what you’re in hospital for, be it an operation or to have a baby, if you’d like to come home early and your doctor says it’s ok, with our Member Support Program you can continue receiving the care you need to get back on your feet. Services include private nursing care, personal care, nappy services or childcare all delivered in the comfort of your own home.
To ensure you get the services you need one of our Member Support Program Co-ordinators will arrange the appropriate services in conjunction with your Doctor and nursing staff.
The Member Support Program is not available at every hospital. Where is it available, the hospital staff or your doctor will make the referral to Australian Unity for the Member Support Program. Australian Unity staff are not involved in any clinical assessment.
