Rehabilitation at home

Australian Unity is providing a home rehabilitation program in conjunction with Rehability for our members in most states.  Members needing rehabilitation following a hospital stay may be eligible to receive the rehabilitation at home program which includes services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, care coordination, nursing and meals, instead of being admitted as a patient to a rehabilitation hospital. 

Rehability is an experienced home and community based rehabilitation, allied health provider and care coordination company, who have been operating for over a decade. If your surgeon or medical specialist has advised that you will need rehabilitation following surgery and think you’d like to recover at home, call 1800 224 244 for more information. 

The rehabilitation at home program is currently available to Australian Unity members with any hospital or combination product other than Care n' Repair, Budget Hospital or Overseas Visitors’ Cover.
