Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Australian Unity will be holding our Annual General Meeting on Thursday 6 October 2005 at 10:00 am
at the Carlton Crest Hotel, 65 Queens Road, Melbourne.
This year, following our merger with Grand United Friendly Society Limited, we will also be making facilities
available in Sydney for members to observe the annual General Meeting. The Sydney venue is the Sydney Harbour
Marriott Hotel, 30 Pitt Street, Sydney.
Notice Of Meeting
A Notice of Meeting was sent to members
on 9 September 2005, which sets out the business to be considered at the meeting, including an important
resolution to amend the Company's Constitution.
If members are unable to attend and vote at the meeting, they should consider lodging a proxy vote, sent to them
with the Notice of Meeting.
The proxy form must be received no later than 10:00 am on 4 October 2005.
Members who want to vote and are unable to attend the meeting in person in Melbourne should lodge a proxy
vote, as there will be no voting facilities at the Sydney venue.

Copy of the 2005 Annual Report will be available at the AGM. It will also be sent in
mid-October directly to members who have requested a copy.
