Travel Insurance
All claims should be advised to the relevant underwriter within 30 days after completion of the journey.
If you took out your Australian Unity Travel Insurance before 22nd January 2006, please contact American Home Assurance Company (AHAC) on freecall: 1800 017 682
If you took out your Australian Unity Travel Insurance from 23rd January 2006 onwards, please check your Product Disclosure Statement and Policy Wording to confirm the underwriter of your policy. If the underwriter is CGU Insurance, please call 1800 122 449 24-hours a day.

To make a claim for Home and Contents or Landlords Insurance please follow the steps below.

Tell us what happened as soon as possible
- Call our national hotline 1300 880 037, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time, Monday-Saturday Australia-wide.
- Email us at cil@claimsservices.com.au.
- Fax us on 1300 766 795.
- Write to: General Insurance Claims Department, Calliden Insurance Limited, PO Box 292 Collins Street West, VIC 8007.
We will explain your rights and, where applicable, arrange for you to receive a claim form.
Note: If you choose to write, a customer service officer will contact you within 24 hours of receiving your letter.

Send in the completed claim form
Include any supporting documents - quotations, photos, receipts, warranties and police reports.
Upon receipt of this information, your claim will be settled promptly - usually within five working days.
